Medregula Technologies was founded by Sri R. Narayanaswamy, Retd. Deputy Drugs Controller (India), Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, in the year 2012. Initially, the main activity was to provide software solutions on various regulatory matters pertaining to the health care sector as well as pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors. Later the company expanded in the field of pharmaceutical consultancy as the main activity.
Earlier, the founder engaged himself as a regulatory consultant in Entrepreneur Promotional Institute of Chennai which was founded in the year 2001. The main activity of consultancy includes import registration of medical devices, bulk drug and pharmaceutical formulations, cosmetics and invitro diagnostics / reagents. The other activities include offering consultancy services for setting up of pharmaceutical, medical devices, cosmetics and IVD manufacturing units in India. The consultancy company is having wide range of experience in regulatory affairs for pharmaceutical and medical devices industries. More than hundreds of import registration applications as well as dossiers were handled and guided the importers for proper documentation in order to speed up the registration process with the government.
Mr. Narayanaswamy has got over 35 years of experience in regulatory matters for import, manufacture and marketing of drugs, cosmetics and medical devices including various diagnostic kits / reagents. Mr. Narayanaswamy is a graduate in Pharmacy from Madras Medical College and served in various capacities in CDSCO, Govt. of India and retired as Joint Drug Controller (India). Mr. Narayanaswamy is a very active member in Indian Pharmaceutical Association and Pharmacy Graduates Association. He held top positions in these associations as President, Secretary etc. and has done various social activities to improve the profession of pharmacy in this country. Dr. N. Rammohan, PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Texas (Austin) is also involved in the consultancy and gives his expert technical advice in various matters pertaining to import registration of molecular diagnostic kits and other medical devices.
Mr. N. Sundar, who is also a co-founder of Medregula Technologies, is well versed in financial matters as well as communications between the client and the consultancy company by way of updating the latest regulatory requirements with them including documentation.
